DLM · Don't Let Me
The screen-time blocker you can't sneak around. Pick the apps that pull you in, then pass the key to someone who'll actually hold it.
The honest version
Every other screen-time tool eventually lets you turn the block off yourself. That's the failure mode. DLM gives the key to a different human — the one who actually wants to see you win.
How it works
Choose the apps and websites that pull you in. Set the hours you want them gone. Apple's Family Controls handles the lockdown.
Pair with a buddy. Partner, parent, sober friend — anyone who'll actually hold the line. Their phone holds the key from now on.
When you want to unlock, write down why. Sit through a cooldown. Half the urge is gone by the time your buddy decides.
The contract
Switching back to "I'll just hold the key" needs your buddy's approval. Changing the block window needs their approval. The whole point is that the door doesn't open just because you really, really want it to.
Pricing
If you're the one being blocked, you pay. If you're just holding the key for someone else, you don't. Three-day free trial on every new subscription.

Questions you'd ask
Yes — we won't pretend you can't. DLM isn't a prison. It's friction. The cost of escape is admitting to yourself that you deleted the app to dodge it. For most people, that cost is enough.
No. Your list of blocked apps stays on your device. The opaque tokens we use are unreadable to anyone else, including us. Your buddy only sees the unblock requests you send and the reasons you write.
Push notification when you submit, push notification when they decide. Most decisions land in minutes. If they don't, that's the system working — the urge was probably not as urgent as it felt.
Yes. You can switch roles in Settings, but switching away from being blocked needs your buddy's approval (same cooldown as an unblock request). Switching into being blocked is instant.
No. DLM is built for adults who want to be held to their own promises. We don't market to parents and we don't allow monitoring of another person's device.
The shield comes down. Your blocked apps unlock. Resubscribe to bring it back. We don't keep your blocks active for free — that wouldn't be fair to anyone paying.
DLM ships on the App Store soon. Get in touch if you want a heads-up the day it lands.
